Hamilton Capsule
While only tabby ruins can be found today, Callawassie Island was once home to Callawassie Sugar Works, an old mill responsible for turning sugar cane into sugar for the area. It is thought to have been developed by Governor James Hamilton in the early 1800's, giving us the only remnants of industrial tabby in South Carolina.
The cool prints of our Hamilton collection are inspired by the stalks of sugar cane along the blue coastline.
