Etta Apparel

Named “Bluffton’s Cinderella,” Henrietta, or Etta, Pollitzer/Guerard desperately desired to be a member of high society. She traveled by coastwise steamer to New York City and on the way, dropped her handkerchief on the deck, and a man named Edward Hartford picked it up. Etta later married Hartford, the wealthy son of a famous grocery store chain, at Bluffton’s Church of the Cross. Our Etta collection is inspired by the social princess and designed to be worn to the holiday parties Etta may have attended.
