"My parents got me this purse after I obsessed over it for years & I love it! Its a great size and I really like all the interior pockets. However, like other reviews state, after not many times of carrying it, the fabric of the trim & handles is beginning to flake off. The body of the purse is in almost new condition so I don't want to have to replace the whole purse. It would be great if Spartina would make leather replacement handles - the handle buckles on so it seems like it could be replaced with ease. For the price point, I didn't realize the trim & handles weren't made with leather to begin with. That would be a great improvement to make to an otherwise really great bag."

Poor quality trim on a nice leather tote
"I love the tote however the trim on the tote and the handles are made of vinyl and unfortunately mine is flaking off, ruining the nice appearance it once had. It no longer looks like a quality tote due to the cheaper materials used on the trim. The body of the tote is in great condition but I don’t really want to carry it because of the looks of the deteriorating handles and trim. The mfg. should update the quality of this tote to have leather trim and handles, even if it has to cost a little more. Very disappointed that Spartina could not make this right. It wasn’t a cheap purchase."
