"Same experience as other reviewers. Handles cracking and peeling within a year. Love the Greetings from Florida line but wouldn't buy any Spartina items again using the faux leather. It IS junk as another reviewer mentioned. Wish they would use a different material for handles. Most especially when the cost is $128! I am a multi repeat Spartina customer and have been satisfied with other items. . . Beach towels, Beach bags, etc. Unfortunately, have bought multiple of these totes. . . The quality expected from Spartina is no where to be found in these faux leather trimmed totes! Photo is just 1 of the examples. Have thrown away other totes. Cracking on handles and all around top trim."
TOTAL JUNK! Poor quality materials and workmanship
"These Spartina totes are total junk. The “vegan leather “ peels off the handles, straps and bag edges and looks like a mess after a short time. Spartina will not replace or repair because they only guarantee the materials and workmanship for 90 days. I own other bags for YEARS in the $100-$200 price range like Michael Kors, Dooney & Burke and Coach and I have never had any problems with them, after YEARS. I take very good care of all my bags with dust covers and storage and rotating them for use and this bag is ready for the garbage after a short amount of use. Totally frustrating trying to have Spartina customer support make good on their products. They shouldn’t be in business treating their customers this way. Don’t purchase if you expect your purse to last for years after light use."

"I bought this bag in March 2025 it is now May 2025 and it is peeling. I tried to contact them end of April they said it's 40 days no returns. I waited so long to get this bag and saved up for it what a shame!"
