In person, it seems to have never been worth the original price. i appreciate your description says leather, but the called leather looks exactly like a synthetic to me. The cane is also quite thin. And the tassels are just made of raffia or paper. The pockets are very tight and will hold very little--maybe a single business card Will keep at sale price, but that seems a bit pricey to me. My first purchase from this catalog--maybe my expectations were misplaced."
