Bascom Capsule

Established by Watson and Louise Bascom Barratt through the settling of his estate, the Bascom-Louise Gallery was created to showcase the works of regional artists within the Hudson Library. The gallery helped distinguish Highlands as a village that celebrated local talent and natural resources. The gallery was so important to the community that it grew its own space, bringing in even more exhibits and visitors as The Bascom. Paying homage to the creativity found at The Bascom, this capsule collection features intricately detailed solid and patterned styles.
